taking questions!!!!

I get this a lot regarding Bugg:
"If you don't mind me asking.........",
and then they proceed to ask something
about his condition.

new toy: a space blanket -
fantastic texture & sound!

I'm sure I used to be like that, too.
Really timid & uncomfortable to ask about
someone's disability,
for fear of offending them.
I'm sure there were times when I remained curious
but said nothing at all.
But let's get this straight:
I am incredibly stoked about sharing Wyatt
and I Love LOVE love to talk about him.
My husband & I just light up when we
speak of our Bugg.
And we tell all, too.
So no question is awkward to us.
Therefore...........
let's have it.
The Hunk & I are taking your questions.
Any single little question that you have.
About anything in the world.
You can leave a comment or email me:
breefro at yahoo.

I'm so excited!

scenes from Sundays

Mints on our pillow Sunday mornings!
Because, Sundays are mint to be kept holy.

What is that, you ask?
German pancakes.
Dada makes these for us.
Served with maple syrup.
Bugg & I enjoy ours with a bit of
vanilla yogurt, too.

We love this book. So sweet.

Sunday Stations.
This is so much fun and sabbath day appropriate.
I set up 4 random activities around the house.
They change from week to week.
Mia has to search for the numbers (usually #1-4).
It only takes about 1/2 hour and helps pass the time
until church, which isn't until ONE o'clock
.

watching Mormon Messages

(they always make me cry happy tears)

Kenneth Cope is a musical fave.
Sweet, soft, uplifting music
plays the whole day.
Hey Utahns........I love this station
because there's no commercials.

Church in the canyon.
Well, truthfully,
we missed church so we took a picnic
to the canyon and Dada read to us
in the great outdoors.
Normally, though, we come home from church
to a crockpot roast cooking in the garage.
(I'm weird but the smell gets too overwhelming in the house -
it began with pregnancy)
And there's the Sunday Sundaes, too!

Just yesterday was the annual primary program
where all the children sing songs and share what they've
been learning about Jesus.
Grandpa's and Grandma's came to see Mia AND Wyatt
participate.

When it was Mia's turn to recite her line,
Brian and Wyatt went up to the podium
and stood next to her.
"Jesus says to love one another.
I can do this by wheeling my brother, Wyatt,
in his wheelchair."
Oh, SO sweet.

Friday, November 12

celebrating...

.....Fridays.
I treasure them.
The whole family does.
Fridays are always the same:
Flapjacks for breakfast (Flapjack Fridays - yay!),
homemade pizza for dinner,
and a movie night in the basement.
But today had a twist.
Because last minute,
I decided to declare today as
Mia's Day.

I felt like she needed some extra attention
& celebrating
after this week full of, what seemed like to me,
straight up disciplining all the time.
She got to eat off the special red plate.
We decked the halls with her b-day banner
and she wore her b-day crown.
Even to school.

I sneaked a favorite cupcake into her lunchbox.
I kept wondering about it all day while she was at school.
I imagined her finding it and how excited she'd be
and maybe she'd think about how much her mama loves her.

Celebrating new lil' friends
over for a playdate.

School pictures.

Frump days.
Colder days mean less outings.
And therefore, less desire to freshen up.
But on the other hand....
....that can get old and boring.
So I
celebrate pin curls for absolutely no reason.

Sun & a baby's blonde wispy hair.

Red berries hot glued to the leaves.
These leaves curl so I hot glued them to cardstock.

Leaves.
Oh, don't be shocked now.

Kids' bathroom

ma + pa's bed

Nap time.
More specifically,
awakening from naps.

she actually says "eeeeeeese."

Impromptu tea party.
With the "good" (garage sale find)
tea dishes.

Cookies.
Soft ginger cookies were perfect to pair with our tea.

Which, by the way, the tea was n a s t y.
Apple Cinnamon Spice.
So deceiving.
It tasted worse than Theraflu.
Good thing we had cookies.

Post Halloween fun.

or not.
Oh, well.
Happy Weekend to you all!
Find something to celebrate!

Dear Hunk of mine,

Will you go with me to the Preference dance?!!!!

Preference dance, we'll just have our OWN.)

I'll wear my fanciest dress.
And my pincurliest curls!
It will be so so much fun to dance the night away
with YOU, my lover Hunk!
